It all started when a friend who had a small used car lot, about 30 cars, needed his web site updated. The person that designed his site was no longer able to provide him with this service. That's where we came in. He knew that I had designed a couple of web sites, and asked me for help. After asking him at least a hundred questions, I told him that it would be easier for me to design him a new site than learn all the proceedures for the program that his site had been designed with.

When we set out to design our first used car lot web site, we asked, "What are the viewers of this web site looking for?" After much thought, we came up with these items.

• They want pictures, at least ten
• They want pictures big enough to see some detail
